hi leschang, care to share how u make them? i really can't see any stitching marks..so u use any special tripod to take them? and why vertical shots?

what tips to take them?

i use photoshop's photomerge, no special technics :sweat:, i took about 15-20 shots to stitch (depends on the angle covered), no tripod as usually bright sunlight outdoor shot, i can crop away the high and low after stitch.
i shot vertical, i guess vertical shots easier to stitch and less barrel effect.:sweatsm:

wow, quite impressive..do u have to try to maintain taking picture from the same point? coz i think if we move..perspective may shift? and i have vignetting or barrel effect on my pano too ha..if u don't mind i put it here.

thanks for sharing, nice scenery there, i think your stitch marks were caused by different exposure of every frames, you need to manually set the average exposure, i guess.

Loke Mansion, Gurney Drive

Loke Mansion is a handsome "arts-and-craft" heritage villa facing the sea on prime real estate in Gurney Drive, Penang. It is one of the heritage sites in Penang threatened by surrounding developments, so I am documenting it for AsiaExplorers so that everybody can get to appreciate its heritage value.
Loke Mansion was built by Alan Loke, the son of tycoon Loke Yew, around 1924-25. In keeping with the habit among the well-to-do at that time of building ostentatious homes and giving them English-sounding names, Loke Mansion was originally called Chatsworth. The northern seafront where it was located, which is today Gurney Drive, was then called North Beach.
