hi all. i have a leica iiic which came with a (surprise, surprise!) pc terminal smack right in front of it's beautiful face. probably a modification from previous owner. now i'm asking if i can have it removed completely and restored to original setting. because i really can't bear to have it there. or if anybody is interested, i am willing to trade it for another iiic or iiia. share your thoughts and suggestions.

no offense sir but if i want only to take pictures, i can most certainly do so with any camera. there must be a reason why i purchase this particular one. so i sincerely hope that i can have your suggestion on the pc socket. but i appreciate your previous suggestion as well. thank you.

I can only think of two solutions. First is to sell it off and get another. Second is to remove the PC socket, get it filled up with lead(metal works craftsman can do this) and have it painted. You almost certainly have ro get it painted becos the colour would be different, which is almost as good as having the spcket there. The first one will be much easier even tho I don't think it'll fetch much, that's why I suggested that you ignore it and just go out and shoot. Have a great Sunday bro!
