I want to make this diy version of Rodinal, is the chemicals are available.

The following chemicals are needed

1. Acetaminophen
2. Sodium Sulfite
3. Sodium Hydroxide

The first is paracetamol. The third is caustic soda. The second is used as a preservative and in pool cleaning.

Has anyone done this before?

My experience with chemical sourcing is that no one in sg sells small quantities to hobbyist, its hard to find pure versions of the chemicals, sometimes it is mixed with other stuff and may affect chemical reactions. Sometimes the concentration of the chemical is also unknown.. so ways must be devised to find out the purity and concentration. I think its probably easier to ship in rodinal from germany

I have enquired about Adonal/Rodinal from Fotoimpex. They are open to shipping to Singapore, so you can drop them a note to enquire.

After trying out Rodinal - personally I won't go out of the way to get it. HC110 is as good as it gets for me. Actually, I think it's the best soup around. Ruby will be bringing in Ilford's version soon - the Ilford HC, at a comparable price. Otherwise, there's always the bulk order from Adorama that we can count on

it's so difficult to source those chemicals in singapore. my online friends from neighboring country are used to make their own parodinal, and now they even make their own pyrocat MC, using triethanolamine
