Some photo from the Paralympic Games at Beijing

100m sprint for the visual impairment. They run with/without a guide. At the finishing, the guide must be behind the contestant

1) At the starting block. Th guide are in orange vest and "connected" to the runner with string on the hands. They need super co-ordination. Its like doing a 3 legged race just that one of them is visually impaired.

2) Off they go from the starting block

Yes, they sure have mighty will. Some are as old as 50 years old and still doing amazing time.
The accident resulted in 2 of the athletes being stretcher out. But from the official website. It seems they are going to do a re-race.

Woah! That's a bad crash! It's kinda of disappointing that even with a Singaporean winning the Paralympic bronze medal, the media coverage and report is so pathetic.
