did u all use the shoulder strip they provided? i feel abit uncomfortable of the material they used like very stiff n rough. lol

i use a handphone wrist strap. smaller, more convenient and gets the job done.

u can find some from the BS or the mass order section, i got one from perly, very comfortable but cost 25 dollars

i cant stand my fz5's strap cutting into me too

if FZ5, go for the WCON08........ got mine at 100 also
Both TCON17 & WCON08 is 55mm, no need to use step up ring

Hi guys, I am intending to buy the FZ5 this few days..Got an equote from MS and AP,their price is more or less the same.I got some questions that maybe u guys can help me.

1)which is a better place to get the FZ5 taking into account the memory SD they give?

2)And,if i wana get from CP, must i get an equote?

3) What is the difference with cheap tripod and expensive tripod?I have a large tripod from olyumpus last time when i bought my 1st digital camera..How do u see if its a good tripod?

Hmm where you live nearer than buy from which one lor.
both are about the same to me. You just gotta make sure.

1. The cam is in excellent condition.
2. Lens are clear and without scratches.
3. All equipments given shd be there. like battery charger.

You will definitely need a quote when buying from CP. They insist on equotes.

I'm not expert at tripods but i do know if you do not use it, it becomes a WHITE ELEP
HANT in ya storeroom. most of the time it is tat way. Unless u are SERIOUS. (read my lips . S-E-R-I-O-U-S about photography, get a cheap one from carrefour)

A tripod should be STABLE in my opinion. a good one shouldnt fly away when the wind blow. you won't want ya cam lens to come crashin. Hmm use the search function. mabbe using the keyword tripod. You will see lot of results from older discussions.

i am thinking if upgrading to a 512 high speed sd card, get a lens cap n a hoya uv filter...

(eh u mean the camera doesnt come wif a lens cover??) just curious

it come with len cap. but if u fit the adaptor, den the cap cant fit well with it.
