I think it might be program problem instead, second photo I used Panorama Maker 3 to stitch.
The 2nd pic here looks more proportional or level thru'out - look at the left row of houses...the 1st pic showed it tilted slightly downward...so seemed that the stitching works better with the 2nd pic. :D

Secondly, u can actually make out the joining portion (like a banding in the middle) in the 1st pic. But good try, we all learn as we go along.

I was using the canon photostitch as well.. but facing lots of problems.. this new SW autostitch seems to be working better.. :)

Still using the same old canon photostitch...and here are some of the results...

Best to use manual exposure...set one point (AEL) and use same values for all the range of image....

Link? Thanks!

I've used both canon's auto-stitch and Autostitch, the latter produces better results. :)

How many shots, tokrot? Vertical or horizontal?

It's about 4 to 5 shots..:) pan horizontal

Wow! Amazing... cos horizontal shots tend to show more distortion at the corners...

The clouds are ok what... the 'unevenness' is probably natural...

Here's my take

Nice.. and unique :)
Thanks.

how did u do it ??

i try using fz20 on tripod.. doing a 360... but cannot...
My setup is pretty simply. Mount the A70 vertically to a L bracket on mini tripod. Ensure the camera or bracket is levelled to the ground. I rotate 30 degree different for each shot (portrait) to complete 1 round via ballhead. My setup is not ideal (not to nodal point), so I focus far objects to prevent bad distortion for stitching (anyway it was a fun shot).
