I just bought myself this camcorder as previously I was using the Sanyo Xacti to film for fun. After that I though I wanna improve myself and get a better one which was later rec by a friend to buy Panasonic HDC-SD900.

I've browsed through the videos posted on this website and I see that they are very clear adn beautiful.

My camcorder has this format AVCHD. Is there any other formats that I should record them?.

Does filming it makes it bright/clear or the editting makes them bright and beautiful?.
Currently i am using CorelVideoPRO 4

Im sorry I do not have the knowledge on videgraphy but am willing to learn.

Can someone share a video editting software for video editting? or where can I get books for references on videography?

Thanks a million in advance.

You can go to any Library to borrow books on video shooting techniques and editing, which will recommend you the software to edit videos with.Borrowing is much cheaper than buying. good videos are recorded with the proper camera setting hence less headache when comes to editing. Also you have to plan your shots before shooting so that the sequence of the video seems more in order when editing, hence less headache. Enjoy the shoot and happy trying.

Does anyone knows where I can read on videography basics?
