Panasonic LX3 or Fuji F200

i find F200 colours more fresh, LX3 seems to be a bit dull.

If you need alot of zoom, do not buy LX3. Its zoom is not as good as other compact.

If you want wide shots and low light ability (like museums where flash not allowed), LX3 is perfect.

Color can be adjusted to suit preference
u can set before u take a pic
or u can adjust after taking in the supplied software if taken in raw

LX3 has better customer support, hence the firmware is now up to V2.1
