Panasonic LUMIX DMC-LX100 & LEICA D-Lux Type 109

Does anyone know if there is a local seller for the JJC Auto Lenscap for the LX100? There are plenty of original Panasonic auto lenscaps in the shops but i would like to use a filter and only the JJC allows that.

Anyone knows where to get the Cokin 43mm harmony slim filter for LX100 locally in SG?
If not, is there any website to order it from?

Yes it fit nicely

Hi all,

I just bought the LX100 recently. When I switch on the filter effect, the image on my LED screen becomes choppy/laggy. Is it normal? Anyone experienced the same problem?

Yes, it's the same on my Type 109 but only with certain filters. Not all are affected.

Thanks bro. I thought my camera is faulty haha

Hi guys! Just wanna know about the B+W 43mm UV filters compatible for the Panasonic LX100. I'ver read details on Shashinki that some of the 43mm filters may have the filter rings outside diameter to be slightly larger. I'm currently using the JJC lens hood so i'm not too sure which ones to choose. Anybody care to chime in? Thanks!

hmmmm if lens hood i am not too sure, but if it is the auto cap you are asking about, i think the JJC auto lens cap is a little thicker compared to the lumix/leica auto cap and fits the regular filters already.

It is only with the original auto caps that you need the super ultra slim filters.

Yes, i'm using the JJC lens hood and not the auto lens cap. I have my eye on the B+W UV filter, but am not sure if it will fit my lens hood since it was described that the diameter of the filter is slightly larger. So i'm guessing which one to choose. 😊

not sure why the diameter will make a difference. If the screw threads are all 43mm, everything should fit fine. The hood will be screwed directly over the filter, and the filter directly on the lens. there should not be any obstruction issues.

you probably need a new lens cap though, the centre pinch style as you will find it hard to use the original lens cap with the hood.

Agreed! I'm still sitting on the fence on whether to get it or not. I mean, i wanna get it online, so i'm asking just to make sure. :) And i have the lens hood attached, so i don't think the lens cap is a must. Thanks for the advice anyways!

I am using B+W 43 mm filter on my D Lux with no problem. You can also consider a step up 43 to 52 adapter and buy a 3rd party lens cap. With this 52mm size you can easily get access to more choices of filters.

Hi, I know Im slower.

I am still using mine. It is a daily in my bag camera.
