HN in Funan is a good option, like what Ryan mentioned, just be reasonable buyer it will be a good experience. Sometimes they have stocks while others might not have. Other shops that are popular in Funan are SLR Revo, TK Foto, Click Camera, Alan Photo. Walk bit to Peninsular, Cathay comes to mind. Have fun.

I think the promo by trd2970 is USA only (I could be wrong), and if it's not offered by any local retailers, I don't really expect HN to offer too. But if it's offered by local retailers, then you could ask HN to match the offer given by the other shops in funan, I tried before and they do match it. Hope this helps

Yes, standard promo locally by pana with purchase of cam sets. Currently bundle with 12-35mm no stock in funan . Need to wait about 2 weeks. For 14-42 kit set, all stores available. Just chk last Sat.
Still no option for BODY ONLY, hor ?

Yes you should have the 25mm F1.7 lens
First, check the switch is set on AF.
Secondly, are you trying to focus something too near? It won't focus if you are nearer than the lens minimum focus distance...
If u use left directional button , you can choose the AF mode. If the focus point doesn't do it correctly, you can fix an area of focus or a point. Hope this helps.

Hi, need to find some opinion over here. I not a pro photographer, so I still deciding on 14-42 kit or 12-35 kit. Does it make a difference for a noob photographer?

If you have additional $800, get 12-35 kit. Sharper & AF faster due to fixed 2.8.

I got the camera already, with 12-35 kit. Funan HN got stock. Price 2290, with the promotion listed above.
Depends on your shooting style.
I almost never use the built in flash on my gx7 as I prefer the natural light on my photo.

i never use a flash except taking pasport photo..
If u need it u need it. A flash is useful for group photos or during events.
