i thought can get at 599 already at some of the shops?
Anyone able to advise this to epl7 in terms of IQ. My missy suddenly thought of learning photography. OMD series is confirm out for her after handling.
Appreciate ur sharing
Just to confirm, $594 at Click! @ Funan?
Any free gift attached?
SD Card & Cam Jacket?
Or they just give normal cam bag?
i also torn between epl7 or gf7. epl7 is pricey and slightly bigger than gf7 so I dont know if the price of epl7 warrants my purchase. have ur Missy bought the m43?

GF7 is smaller and lighter, so it is easier to hold camera during taking selfie.
Panasonic manu interface is more user friendly than Olympus.
GF7's 12-32 kit lens is better than E-PL7's 14-42 EZ lens. For selfie, these kit lens are not replaceable unless you have 12mm, 14mm or 15mm prime lens.
E-PL7 is better in battery life, build quality and sensor(which is not noticeable for me).
For casual shooting, GF7 with kit lens will do the job pretty good. I ditched my old EM5 with 12-40 lens for outings since I got GF7 with kit lens.
If you are willing to pay extra for E-PL7, you should consider getting EM10 instead.
thx for sharing. My sentiments on the size. Pardon the question, but why would the 12-32 kit lens is better than E-PL7's 14-42 EZ lens? For starters, i read 12 would refer to the focal length hence shallower DOF. Does that means the image taken nearer is clearer?
I used both before , personally I find the 12-32's IQ slightly better than the 14-42EZ coming to sharpness. If I compare that way then I can also say the 9-18mm will yield way better results than the 12-40/2.8 which is not true.
The 14-42EZ is very decent but I will always prefer a manual zoom over an electronic I too. Having that extra '2mm' wideness also helps.
didnt realised that 12-32 has a manual zoom! thanks for pointing it out. but what is the significance of it being a manual zoom?
Manual zoom , u get your focal length almost instantly ; electronic Zoom, u push into the zoom lever and slowly zoom![]()
let me get the camera and I will probably understand what you highlighted haha![]()
Pls do![]()
Anyway end of the day everyone's needs are different, I still see users of EP1 out there even.
Could I check, a retailer told me that the warranty can be extended to 3 years for 699$. Should I go with the flow and purchase it?
