erm, izzit see wrongly? the Fx01 is going for that price, but FX07 is going for 649 as per the flyer they are giving out (by panasonic)

Heartache sia....

Panasonic quote the price will be more ex compared to neighbourhood shops..
Best place to shop for cams at competitive prices are at Funan 5th floor and Sim Lim first 2 floors... but i think funan still best prices around there ^^

Cheers n Merry Christmas! ^^v

i tot last week somebody just said that there was a promotion from best denki.... $569 for fx07, plus 1 gb memory card, 1 extra third party battery, leather pouch, tripoh..... i personally checked it out last week at imm best denki. yup, there was such a promotion....

i guess it still going on.....

I had the impression that the battery is an original Panasonic battery... Am I wrong?

just got a FX07 while walking around in Tokyo...quite a bargain at JPY17,800 or around SGD230.

Tried the FX-7 weeks back for several days from my friend.

Overall is a pretty good cam. He was choosing between a Ricoh Caprio R5 and FX7. Both has wide angle 28mm. Ended up he opt for the FX7 due to it's functionality and pictures sharpness. As for the little noise problem at higher ISO is acceptable, there is always a trade off between things, one cannot ever have the best of both world. If noise is a problem than try the Fame brand Nikon their current slim compacts also carries much of this problem.

My feed back on FX7. easy to use with many scene mode avail. for the right moment to take good pictures. Camera is compact enough to slot into pocket for daily carry. Simple to navigate and use. Love the OIS system especially when you care to do Zooming, it really works well. Pictures being printed at 5R is good considering a compact. If you have time to spare try out the night portrait under scene mode it does gives pretty good pictures. Of cause you might have to invest in a small cheap tripod (S$10) for that to take place. For the fireworks mode it works very well too. Love the well adore Lecia lens that Pana comes with.

Draw back is the battery consumptions with me activating the flash, zooming and playback viewing all the time. But that can easily be resolved by buying an extra 3rd party battery( S$ 25 ~ 30 ).

Of cause my reviews and opinion might differs from other users. Hope this personal review has given more info to other formers.
