USD 999 for the NTSC version. Expect to pay more when it comes to the store. Doubt the cheaper variants will be available here as usual.

Does not look like a fantastic camcorder. Can only manage up to 30p, same as the LX100. HDR movie mode looks like it only works on HD and not 4K per the article.

I think it will be impossible to find any camcorder with more features than the WX970 for the money. (likely SGD1500)
Get it if you want:

- HDR video in 1080p
- 120fps in 1080p (unlimited clip duration!!!)
- WIFI remote control recording, zooming, panning and tilting

But avoid if you are into extreme sports cos the chasis quality is quite fragile.
