anyone knows when this model is coming in to our shore? How much?

Called Panasonic Sing, the TM700 is available at RRP $2,299 and the SD700 at RRP $1,900. They said got promoters at Harvey Norman Funan and Parkway to demo them. I expect shop price for the TM700 to be below $2k, time to pay a visit to AP at SLS liao

Just check with Harvey Norman today. $2099

But how is the focusing speed? TM300 focusing speed is pathetic. Canon Fast AF is leaps and bounds ahead, even the mid-range series outperform TM300.

If TM700 has the same problem, I would rather go for TM60 as it is quite decent compare to the TM300.

The Camcorderinfo review said " The camcorder's basic auto controls appeared to be relatively effective. Autofocus worked quickly and the camcorder's tele macro setting allowed for simple focus on extremely close subjects." Why not go check it out and let us know!

Tried it out today.

Only slightly better than the TM300 in terms of focusing ability...

Also tried it out today. I find that the AF speed is reasonably fast, good enough for me. Best Denki is selling it at the RRP $2,299.

Try getting from bhphoto it is only SING$1450 including GST and shipping. I got my sony CX350v from there.
