Depends....
GX8 has a bigger viewfinder and mic in
GX85 has 5axis stabilization during video, but no mic in..

For my use, GX85 wins.. YMMV..

It's the fully articulating screen and mic Input that win it for me... Especially at the same price!
Sell off the dry cabinet at $50-60, the lens at 200-220, and the extra battery worth $50... And it's actually cheaper to have a gx8....
