I was a Daiso in IMM where everything sells for $2 a piece and I saw a ash-tray metal can. Its metal cap fits the 7-14mm lens and so I bought it. If I have the time may pose a pic of it.

Recently I brought the OMD EM5 with this lens to MBS to try the combo out. I encountered no problem. Went to the SKY Park too and should had brought along a zoom lens as well but did'nt. Post a few shots taken that day. Didn't bring tripod but placed the camera body on the window ledge.

If you go now, you will get a fantastic night view of this, I think.

I don't think I am allowed to post too many photos here. I have a gallery of photos taken with this lens in my photo site. I paid $1430 for this lens when it first came out but I think it's worth it. It's one of the m4/3 lenses you should have. Don't mean to poison:bsmilie:

A few of mine to share, it's sharp corners to corners, sometime purple fringe with Oly bodies, and haven't found a cheap way to mount filters...still a to do list...otherwise awesome lens

I noticed that on my shots taken with OMD as well. Do you know if it can be fixed with post processing on say Lightroom?

Don't use LR, though sure it can.

I'm having the same problem with my EM-5 and the 7-14.

If you have Photoshop, you can use this Action which works decently http://blog.lorrifreedman.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/07/purplefringekiller.zip.

There's also a setting in Adobe Camera Raw or in Lightroom under Chromatic Aberration where you can select the range of purple values and then it will be removed. I've had better luck with the Action though.

No idea about airport, but street prices around 1.2k, definitely cheaper than Singapore's 1.4k price.

Nice. is an expansive lens man.. But love the wide view for this lens.
