Overseas! and Film!

I'm in Hanoi now with 30++ rolls of bulk loaded Tri-X 400
It can be pushed to 3200 & pulled back to 100

Other then the 30+ rolls of Tri-X
I got Velvia 50 for Halong bay over the weekend.
Have bulk loaded provia 100, Portra 400vc, fuji pro 400

2nd day here alone, used 4 rolls of Tri-X already & one roll Provia 400x

I was at Hanoi too! Pity didn't planned enough time for Halong Bay, but went to Sapa.

Hijacking this thread, but I'm heading to Hanoi in January, and I was wondering if you could give me advice on the lighting conditions there. I currently have zero stock of any film, except one roll of Ektar 100 and one roll of Superia 200. I'm partial towards colour, and street/landscape, so what speeds should I be looking to get?

Hanoi seems prone to rainy weather and was pretty hazy. So perhaps faster film would help. But I just made do with 200.

I highly recommend Fuji Pro 400h. I bought a slighly expired (but refrigerated) batch from eBay and it has turned out well so far.

I just got back yesterday.

It was raining for the first 3days I was there & perfect shooting condition for the next 4 days.

12-15degs & falling currently in Hanoi. I was walking around at least 4-6hours per day exploring & also getting lost in the city :bsmilie:

Shot mainly on Tri-X 400 & only color Elitechrome at Halong Bay.
Left my stash of films in the hotel front desk went I went to Halong bay

should have brought more!!!!!!!

I think I brought along at least 30++ or could be 40++ rolls to Hanoi! But I did 10rolls only! haha! Better to have more than less.....
Just the thought of processing 8 rolls of B&W & scanning 10 rolls in total is really

Currently in Japan,
Had no problem getting about 40 rolls of film hand inspected at Perth Airport and Hong Kong airport.
