From what I heard, if you continuously shoot 10fps for a long period, you will also hit overheat problem.

I think should be ok just need to bring spare battery I guess lols... I have tried shooting using my A33 during my daugther b-day party it started around 4Pm and ended 8PM so i have a good 4 hrs and my cam was almost always power on... I never had any issue... but then again I never shoot non-stop during that 4 hrs....

bro but dont take my word... I think during that session I took around 250-300 photos only (RAW-JPEG) there are shots I took like few seconds inteval but there are times I shoot like every 4-50 mins interval and some even longer.... but for sure I wasted 1 battery lols

I like good electronic viewfinders for five things over optical ones found in similarly priced cameras:
1) 100% view coverage
2) larger view and better eye relief
3) true depth of field preview with lenses brighter than F/2.8
4) more nose space
5) quick focus check (although personally A55/33's implementation could be improved)

My next camera is likely to be one with EVF, if the heat-up of main sensor is proved to be a non-issue. :sweatsm:

seems like 550D overheats easily as well
