I used to do that, for a couple of years. Something to give back to society... but then I also find that yah, not too many people appreciate either. So nowadays I only do when conveniently I am there (e.g. gf also taking part, gf also helping out, etc)

I wonder where all the photos of Pro photographers like these (Aviva 70.3) go to at the end of the day also. It's an interesting discussion we have (especially since I have informal dinners with friends who are organizers of some of these events also).

Photography is fun, dont take it too seriously. =)

For the record, no one has personally acknowledged that they are in the photos... Maybe next time! Maybe not!
