My 12-35 arrived today. Total cost was $993 + $22 for shipping + $76 GST = $1091

Is there credit card charges? Usually 3-4% from bank

Either the exchange rate is not in favour or the price has gone up. Amazon list price is around 1090.00 now.

By the way, is there any other reliable website that selling photography equipment such as B&H or Adorama in Japan?

Only if you are willing to check everyday and wait for the right deal and be there at the right time to respond before anyone else does. ;p Most appear to be listed at $700 and above. Only seen 1-2 below $700.
