Opinions required: D70 vs E-300

Well, I'm still a new user when it comes to DSLRs so I'll probably be sticking to the kit lens for quite a while still. Maybe the buying will come later

Usually not the case. Go shoot some fashion shows, events, sign up for some photo outings..... If you are a normal male with hormones, 1 month and you'll be hooked. ;p

Hmm..not really interested in fashion shoots leh. My real preference comes in travel photography and landscape. I dabble a little in macro photography as well.

So lets see...that'll be one more wide angle lens, one zoom lens(just in case....) and maybe[\i] a macro lens. And not forgetting an external flash unit....
