this is a normal setup for video cams lor... with a typical carbon fibre leg....

the head can be quite bulky for normal usage purpose though..

wat sorta opinion do u wan? u mean how heavy this setup can take? or u mean is it smooth to use in practice?

looking for general observations on such a setup or similar.
 

That is a Satchler....one of the best camera support system with ultra smooth pan/tilt heads.
 

The Sachtler FSB series are for smaller cameras like the HDV, XD-Cam Ex series. I think the FSB 6/8 heads are excellent but the basic Sachtler legs that come with the set could be better - too thin in my opinion and will suffer from a little windup. The Carbon Fibre Speed Lock however is a feature I like very much as it allows you to setup the legs quickly and easily. If you get the right legs to go with the head, you can't go wrong with this setup.
 

what cam are you using on this setup?
btw i'm also a joker with camera :bsmilie:
