Just a few shots from a village / small town in India. Went there a few months ago on a relaxing vacation, no TV, no phone, no internet, just peaceful countryside.

I'll start off in Bali...took a day trip up to Mt Kintamani and stopped over for lunch and saw this cloud passing over Mt Batur.

I had the oppotunity to visit Zurich for a work meeting. Managed to squeeze in one afternoon to walk around the city. I headed up the tower in an old cathedral and saw this view of the city.

I was in KL for a work meeting and we had an afternoon of team building. We went to try out hand at go-karting. It was super fun! I was also busy taking pictures. I only had my 18-50mm lens with me so had to be at the edge of the track to get close.

I flew to Japan for a meeting and had an afternoon to spare. So we visited a place called Dazaifu, near Fukuoka. This place has many shops selling traditional Japanese products. These slippers caught my eye. They sure are colourful.

On my way back from a meeting in Cupertino, California, we flew over Alaska. Most people on the flight were concentrating on the movies screened on the excellent Wisemen (Krisworld) system. I took a stroll and happened to look out the window and saw this magnificent view.

I had the chance to attend a workshop conducted by Ian Lloyd. It was a short workshop which lasted a day. One of the best things about this workshop was the 1.5hr walk to photograph the opening of the Street Food scene at Bugis. I saw Ian in action and tried to do what I could. I thought this really showed good old fashioned Singapore.

I celebrated my 10th wedding anniversary with a trip to India. We went to Kerala and spent many days driving up and down the state. I also wanted to try my hand at capturing the feel of the place (my first time actually). There were many fishermen in Kochi and they still use the Chinese fishing nets (first introduced by Kublai Khan) extensively. I'm glad I managed to witness these marvellous nets.
