First try on Night Photography, took this about 10pm, which i think it might have bee a little late as the "golden time" i saw on many threads are 7ish to 8ish to have an optimum composition.. :dunno:

yea..

Also, i dono why in RAW, the picture is sharper, but when converted to Jpeg using DPP it became softer..

Hello Bryaan :) Composition is largely independent of lighting. Golden hour phootgraphy might provide excellent lighting conditions, but composition depends on your judgement.

This is along PIE, exiting into kallang bahru.. it's on the bridge right beside the swimming pool. :)

may i know wat lens u use?

thanks,, may i know how to make the lamp like star?

Images lose their sharpness when you resize them. Hence why I sharpen mine in photoshop after I resize down to 1024x680.

Let me guess, this is near Macpherson.

Anyway, the stardust effect is nice, abit too big for the 1st 2 though. On the other hand, you may wanna take care of the flare near the centre. Just my 2 cents.

nice, nice. I saw someone taking pics on this bridge on one of the days while i was travelling on this stretch.

might be you!

Than again, I slowed down cuz I thought it was TP...:bsmilie:

you increase your f/stop to as high as your lens is able to. eg. f/22. and you would get that effect. ;)

Waaa, we are almost neighbors. Why not take the picture with the infineon building in the frame, would look awesome.

Anyway, there are some ghosting/flare in your pic. Remember to remove your UV filter next time you do a night shot.

Tons of people shoot there. I pass under this bridge at least 4 times a day. I've seen many many shooters. One time I could have sworn I saw a dude using a leica film camera.
