he is one of the culprits, definately not the scapegoat.

he is probably the most foolish culprit, who spill all the beans in the court, furthermore he is a lawyer, still can fall into this kind of "trap"

since the rest of the culprits are probably some "high-profile" people in the society, if they push all the blame will push to him, then he will become the scapegoat, i guess it would be interesting if TT expose the rest pple to plead for leniency

he will take all the blame.
everyone starts to distant themselves from him.
he will keep his mouth shut and absorb them all.

No doubt the CEO runs the organisation like he is the emperor, and feed everyone around him very well to keep them happy. Hope to see more organisations being checked and balanced, NKF won't be the only hay-wired one.

it is really interesting to see what kind of creepy crawlies would come out of KPMG's report.

i want to earn peanuts! peanuts are good. peanuts gives me personal expenses for a spanking new Mercedes, backdated salary increment, first class air tickets (some i can dont even use!), corporate credit card, bonuses of up to 12 months! whoo peanuts also know how to get me insurance and name my spouse as my beneficiary.
no wonder everyone wants to work in the peanut factory. *rolleyes*

think poor TT durian will be made the scapegoat

the report seems to point everything to him

He can hardly be called a scapegoat. A scapegoat is usually innocent.;(

where were all the directors that defend Durai? Especially the one who started the whole "peanut" things.
Shouldn't them be responsible also?
The one who started the "peanut" thing was not one of the directors ... She was only the patron, not involved in the management of the board ... Must be careful what we say on this public forum hor ;) Just in case ...

So sad to know that my contributions were so insignificant after deductions by the NKF :(

I still remembered when I was an NKF for sales presentation. I was hanging around the lobby and I was served FREE suzuki cofee and cheese cake. It was practically like a little starbucks.

Few weeks ago, I passed by an Aviva-NKF shop around Cecil Street. Still see the suzuki coffee there.

ST has no more fresh news at the moment to please the media masses. Hence it brings up old juicy issues to entice the crowd.

Does'nt anyone see that.

From ST:
Nothing to show for $70,000 Las Vegas 'study trip'

LAST year, former NKF chief executive T.T. Durai apparently felt that the foundation's annual charity shows had become stale and repetitive and needed the injection of some new performers and cutting edge techniques.

His answer was a study trip that cost about $70,000 to Las Vegas for him and five members of the events marketing team, including a former board member and a senior volunteer.

The executive committee noted: 'The team attended several shows...to study various concepts in entertainment marketing...Since the team intended doing at least three shows in the following year, it was imperative that they do the necessary research for the same. The shows they attended offered various innovative concepts in the use of light and sound,' said the minutes of an October 2004 executive committee meeting.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Luckily they were exposed, if not, next trips will be to Bangkok to see Ah Kua shows and Amsterdam to see "live" shows.
