I believe the above is clear enough rite???

For info I am going to get a Nikon Reflex 500 f/8 Mirror Lens to try.... ;p

Note: I only buy original Nikon stuff, so if you guys have a Nikkor 500 f/8 reflex Lens to let go can PM me

Ok for the clarity to the readers here is the list of lens I own:
AF 28mm f/2.8D
AF 50mm f/1.8D
AF 85mm f/1.8D
AF 180mm f/2.8D ED
AF 300mm f/4
AF 35-70mm f/2.8D
AF 80-200mm F/2.8D ED

Most of the time, I carry them all until recently I sold of my LowePro Stealth Reporter 650AW for a Billingham 335 :lovegrin: and is awiting for it to arrive Singapore.

I've also tried a AF60mm Macro f/2.8D lens, love it for its sharpness but hate it for it range when shooting insects. Thus I sold it off and awaiting to get a 105mm Macro f/2.8.

Not that I know of, that's why I need to confirm with you.

Strangely though, I wonder why you bother to list prime lenses as having constant aperture. Primes have constant aperture by design hence listing them seems rather redundant unless one means to suggest that they have only a single f-stop, which doesn't necessarily apply for a prime unless it is a reflex design.

Of cos, all prime have a single/constant f-stop It would be strange for a prime lens say 50mm f/2.8-3.5 rite??? :bsmilie:

Anyway, just tried a Nikkor 500mm f/8 reflex Mirror Lens. Fantastic sharp image. I was thinking that since it uses mirrors, the image would not be as sharp. Only set back, no metering and have a little light fall off at all 4 corners. But the effect looks good and unique, so I somewhat quite like the light fall-off effect.

Hmmm... Looks like I am going to shop for one soon. :bsmilie:

Ya you can say that again My primes and the telezoom overlapping all the way till 200mm... :bsmilie: :bsmilie: :bsmilie:

But then different lens is designed for different purposes. So what to do? If you need that quality, you got to invest in the right lens.
