Well, I sort of upgraded to G3 after some eval between 5050 and G3. But realised the mistake later. I was looking for a fast DC to capture my baby photos but didn't realised that all these 4MP, 5MP DC produce a lot of Noise when shoot at ISO400. Since my wife don't let me use flash, I can't sell off my C2040. Have to keep it as backup that I use frequently for ISO400 shoots!!!

Hmm yeah lor no harm trying. Anyway if cannot, then I just walk over to Oly @ Hill St, now so near somemore

Wa u got a G3 liao ah! For me I'm still holding to C2040Z. Partly due to no money and also I'm using my cam for casual use and covering some company events nowadays....

Only problem with it is the external flash issue. No hotshoe can be frustating sometimes

Get the Oly Cable lor. Then get the Vivitar 285H. In fact someone is selling it at $110. The Oly cable about $90 and then get a Flash bracket about $17. Then you got Flash!

I dun quite like a flash that is hanging to the left of the camera lor, makes it overall very big and bulky And takes sometime to assemble as well.....

I still envy my G2 friend who can put a flash directly on top of his hotshoe.....

Not sure the size of Vivitar285. But if you put a 380EX Speedlite on top of the G2/G3 make sure it doesn't topple over! :bsmilie:
