wow it's nice to find other OM users like myself here.. the OM are really beautiful cameras..
i'm the proud owner of an OM-1 with zuikos 50mm/f1.4, 50mm/f1.8, 28mm/f2.0 and 75-150mm/f4.0.. it's one of the best mechanical systems i've ever laid hands on.
maybe we could have an OM gathering one of these days.. :think:

I'm assuming by the amount of gear some have they are collectors, not regular users. It surprises to not see anyone with a 50mm 1.2 . Just curious why this might be?
OM2n, 50 f1.2, 50 f1.4, 50 f 1.8 and a non Zuiko 28mm and 70-210mm. Got all this plus sequential shooting attachment, flash, all kind of filters, for $120 at a garage sale. Haven't used it for years but cannot part with it. I have a few Olympus Six's sitting on a shelf also.

Sim lim tower B1 sells battery for OM1. Can PM me for battery , have few standby all the time. OM system is beautiful....Always love the bokeh from zuiko lens.

I just got an OM1N recently. inherited from an uncle of mine. It's older than me and it's got a 35mm, f2.8 lens. Extremely wonderful stuff
I got an OM-1 off Ebay around 6 years ago. Though I have bought a E500 since, I still use it to take slides and B/W film, and I still :heart: it. My lens collection include 28mm f2.8, 50mm f1.8, 100mm f2.8, 135mm f3.5, 35-70mm f3.5-4.5 and 75-150mm f4.

And if you are in Singapore and looking for places to repair your OMs, you can try the Peninsula Hotel Shopping Centre or Adelphi Centre (near Funan Centre). I would recommend P&G Photographic Centre. They do repairs and sell second hand equipments. Below is their website:

Do take note that repairing is not cheap, but reasonable, so be prepared to pay for it. The good thing is they offer free checking and quotations. :thumbsup:

I just got myself an E-30 with 12mm-60mmF2.8 SWD. In my OM stable, I have the following items:
OM-1n
OM-10
OM-2
OM-4Ti unfortunately, not all working well. The OM-2 has exposure problems, while the OM-4Ti has a jammed shutter. The former service centre could not repair either satisfactorily.
Lenses:
50mm F1.4
28mm F3.5
135mm F 3.5
75-150mm F4
F280 Flash
Can anyone advice how I can use the OM Zuikos with the E-30 body, and what will ih have to do e.g. full manual and step-down aperture manually? TIA

u need to get a om-4/3 adapter ard $40 for 3rd party version, use aperture or manual mode on your E30.
u will not get any Aperture setting on ur cam, however, aperture setting is control on the lens itself.
IS is still usable on OM lens attached.

Hi guys, i have an om2n that needs to have its foam replaced, where should i go to have it done?
I went down to a particular shop at adelphi and was quoted 180 to clean and change foams plus "replace worn parts that are limited". I only asked for changing of foams and the reply was "i don't do that"
my camera is working perfectly, just need new foams. thanks in advance.
