Wonder why the Tough TG -630 is marketed as ideal for kids. Do kids often go into -10ºC places or 5M deep waters?
5M waterproof
1.5M shockproof (they mean drop dstance)
-10ºC freezeproof

Because kids can't use cameras without dropping them half the time.

Wow nowsday kids get to play with real camera... my time i also had.. but I got to put water into my camera, push the shutter then water shoot out..

i compare the 2 images side by side on 2 separate monitors... one thing stood out... E-P5 with 14-42mm kit is $1388 w/o needing any trade-in.....

other differences... DL editors awards vs dpreview gold award for E-P5... some font size differences in standard bundle descriptions... and pretty much nothing else...

E-P5 got the silver award, not gold from DPReview. Probably realized that mistake and hurriedly removed it?

Where I live now, it's often -10 degrees C in the winter...or colder. I suppose Singaporeans don't visit cold places because they love the heat so much. Regardless, kids need a rugged camera because they're often not so careful, don't you think?
