Olympus Live Composite Function

my first with EM10 startrail with a 9-18mm at 9mm at f4 at 11 day moon.

Can any sifu explain why some star trails are smooth whilst some are jagged.

The tree and leaves is due to wind. Camera is mounted on a Manfrotto tripod.

Cheers

Not sifu in star trails, I guess perhaps due to moving clouds?

Stop or Go?

Olympus EM10+Panasonic 7-14, @ F11, with soft edge GND 1sec for about 3mins. Had another shot with all the 3 Red Yellow Green colors showing, though the trails were more uncontrolled than this shot, hence decided to keep this.

Olympus EM10+Panasonic 7-14, @ F5, ISO200, 3.2sec for about 8 minutes with soft edge GND. Waited for the light show at 930 to coincide with boat trails.

A few more recent works with Live Composite

EM10+Panasonic 7-14

EM10+Olympus 9-18 with 3 stops soft GND

Just wondering, how did you get the word "UOB" so sharp and clear on top of the building ?

Did you superimpose a second shot taken at a fast shutter speed ?

Thanks

Just a single shot raw, tweaked in Lightroom. I did use a soft GND on the bottom as the light trails were rather bright.

So tempting to get a EM10 just to use this function!

Thanks wonglp,

I am assuming you did not use the 7-14 F4 lens because this lens has no thread to screw on any filters ...

thanks

P7-14 was used. I believe the same question was answered here before.
