Olympus Live Composite Function

Hi guys,

Need your advise if live composite suitable for sunrise shot on mountain area altitude above 3000m. From experience usually the light will change pretty fast.

Need your advise if you are taking sunrise what sec and duration will be better ? Need ND? Which grade will be better ?

I did time lapse for sunrise before but nv for live composite.

Thanks for your sharing in advance

Not suitable cause shortest timing for live comp is 1/2s

Been searching for information regarding Live Time and Live Composite and this is the best forum iv found.

Thanks for pictures, videos and great explanations on this topic.

Hi, very good start for a 1st shot. You had managed to get quite a few sequence of lasers for a start and that's good. The highlights in centre where the fountain is blown, and it will be difficult to recover that. So you can either underexpose your base shot and try to recover more of the shadows for single shot, or if you use Photoshop to take another 1 or 2 shot that's exposed just for the centre area and blend it to this base shot. The vertical is a little slanting inwards, and the right building is a little distracting, I feel it might be good to have your composition just on MBS to include more on the left side (which is slighting chopped off) and sacrifice the right building. Shooting Raw will helping recovering more details as well. I don't actually do any blending, so blending experts please feel free to chip in :)

Have fun shooting!

It looks a litte OOF to me, agree with LP on underexposing, because it's overexposing for the sky

Thanks spidey89. Honestly I think this em-10 is to high tech for me. Lots of functions that I don't really understand.

Join us for outing then can ask any of us. Learning is a life long process! Keep shooting, keep learning

Here's mine to share. Really getting hooked to this live composite thing.
