Don't see why not, consumer level products are the bread and butter for most companies, aren't they?
It'll be interesting to see what Oly can bring to the table. Built-in LED light would be handy.
A waterproof design that isn't dependent on an ext case is also good, avoids the common internal fogging problem.

Consumer camcorders are my bread and butter. I use them every day for seminars, corporate videos, sports vlogs, training videos. Cheap, small, packed with features not even found in professional cameras.
