I always go down to make my deposit first though i don't think its required and they don't take deposit from everyone only those that regularly go there. thats what i was told anyway.
for me i get all my stuff from ms color.. i had a friend who wanted to pay a deposit to reserve but was kindly rejected, although name was taken down in reservation list and according to him it was quite a list...

Just get from here lah, my friend bought it at J3:16 for $1,240, 2 weeks ago i went to JK Photo, they selling for $1,180, MS and SLRevolution might be cheaper. Take some time and walk around Funan area, asking here is not 1st hand information, pointless

Problem is I am now at China, only able to go back during China National Day.
For S$1180, what do we get in the package? Can share some info? Thanks in advance.

If you are in China, then Guangzhou is the best place to buy Olympus products if you know where to look. As a mod, I cannot advertise another forum's URL but if you do enough searching on Google, you can find another Four Thirds forums in China, and they have a few shops in GZ that offers competitive prices. Better prices than in Singapore. With the rising S$, it is getting more expensive to buy anything.
Moreover, if you live in China like me, then it is better to buy the camera in China... the support staff (pending on where you are) can be quite nasty to "foreign cameras".
