I'm still wondering about the Tatsuno. I attempted to read the explanation on the web site but I didn't get the whole thing, probably because some of the foreign terms.

I would think it would be like 達人 (master) but hopefully not like 絶つ, which is discontinued.

The 25mm is in the standard class so I hope that they will provide a better version in the high grade at 2.0 or even 2.2. Anything between the very expensive Leica/Panasonic and this new one would be great. Compact lenses are great, as long as you have a use for them.

wow, the preview says the E420 has better DR than the E-3. I really hoped they gave the new E420 the best sensor they have rather than cripple it or anything to make the E-3 looks better.

I hope they did pull something out from the NMOS sensor via improved software algorithms because this will only mean that the next firmware update for the E-3 will see this new set of algorithms bringing even better DR for the camera. Keeping my fingers crossed now.

Hope so. They can't possibly give the E-420 more DR than the E-3. It's the flagship model! It should have what the other lower end models have!

Haha. Samples have already proved itself. It is not a bad camera at all.

So with IS, E-520 will be a success! I believe it will be more successful than E-510.

The E-420 was released last week in Beijing but I was not there... what the hell... kek-sim sia... wanted to play with it before deciding if I will get one... the new beige leather case and pancake combo looks super tempting lor... wanted to touch it first... sianz... see whether Oly SG will bring that in and announce the first E-Club meeting... then everyone will get to play with it.

It's too much poison to handle! But that pancake is really cute. :bsmilie: So is the E-420. Seems like the colours are more towards the E-3. ;p So is the DR.
