Vignetting added in post-processing? Nice effect.

Yes, vignetting effect was added to give more drama to the bland and washout shot as it was taken against the hot afternoon sun.

It is really hard to find the old Chinese lanterns that still uses
candle lights. The electronic ones are all over the place but had
to travel to Chinatown and pay a whopping $12 for the good old
cellophane models. Finally managed to get one classic lantern
for this shoot... happy!

My dragon emerges out of the darkness to join in the celebrations...

And attempts to swallow the moon... ha ha ha...

Hope everyone had a good weekend and enjoyed your Mid Autumn Festival.
Pray for those in North Asia affected by the typhoons and bad weather.

Thanks bro. Nope, there is a little distance between the candles and my precious dragon lantern (hard to find sia)... so positioned it and used the 50-200, making used of perspective compression to compose the shots. Quite a workout to get the angles I wanted... LOL. Everyone was wondering why I was perspiring so much for a simple shoot of the lantern... ha ha ha...

Good use of "Slow Sync Flash" function in this shot! Brilliant! You caught her expression very well!
