My contribution to Olympus blues.

I hope it does justice to the E-510...

Taken with Aperture Priority mode with +0.7 EV.
Metering in ESP mode.
Was testing out whether this setting works for times when i don't have the time to do M settings fast enough...

I'm using the E330, the 3Dness is very apparent to me comparing to my canon. I think i'm gonna let go some of my canon soon to buy into 4/3rds hehe. Here's another one that to my eyes look 3D

Is this shot a jpg straight out from the camera?
To me, the colour is better than the E-510.

I shot all in raw and processed in lightroom. I've read about the e330 being able to do colours like the c8080 and i think it does really well and much cleaner. I'm a happy camper.

Here's another to share :) I love the blues so much

And one from my trusty c8080, can't wait to get a hold on the 9-18mm

Seems like the dynamic range is so much better, I can never get this sort of output from the jpg straight out from my E-510. If I get the sky exposure right, then the rest on the ground will be under-exposed.

Is this a HDR shot? or I need to take RAW and process it in lightroom to achieve a similar result like yours? :dunno: or this is a result from the E-330 sensor which cannot be achieved by the E-510?

Please enlighten, thanks. :)

I do not know whether does the e330 have better dynamic range as compare to e510 as i've not shot with that before.:dunno: Moreover i'm still new to the e-system and dunno how much can the raw files be pushed. The shot is not a HDR but it seems that lightroom can recover quite alot of highlights and shadows in the e330 raw and I'm happy with the results.:bsmilie: I read somewhere in dpreview that shooting at iso125 will somehow render sharper pictures then shooting at iso100 so i set all the daylight shots to iso125 but then not sure whether will that affect the raw files  Do give a go with raw on your e510 you might get really good results from it!

That reminds me i should shoot jpeg + raw just for comparisons shake :)

Great posting guys! So far I've got no blue sky to show......will have to dig deeper into my archive.........!

I nearly wanted to print this to A4 size and put it on my desk.
Never introduce this female model to me, I will simply fall in love with her anytime. :bsmilie:
