Nice. I wonder what are the settings he use. Whe I try to bump up the saturation +1 or +2. The colours look very fake. Not like his blues look real. At least it's pleasing to look at. Anybody got some pointers to share?

following link leads to pics that are not taken by me but when i saw them i was like WoW  and told myself hei, i have to show them to other oly users too.... the colors are so rich... wonder what he do for pp...

enjoy....

Actually, IMO, some of the pictures look fake. Like the first one, seems more like a model than a real scene. Not my type of photo. But some are quite nice. :)

Could be HDR?

The images were probably layered, a bit overdone with the lighthouse close-up.

I like the cliff shot though.

some are nice. but some look fake. especially the #1. look like some 3d drawing with computer.

A couple of pics taken with the E300 a few years back...

Urghh ... the greyish stuff look so unappetizing especially contrasted with the bright yellow pot. Its needs to be a richer and deeper black to be deemed food. :-)

Ok, I'll feedback to my friend's mom... and quickly run away.
Just pretend it's a wax display model.

Wow. Your shots are amazing and you have a keen eye for such tiny fellas. Applause for you. Clap clap clap.

And you know what the scary part is?

It ain't even his best work!

The fly-grooming-itself pix is really cute!
Oh, and the rest are just as vividly awesome!

His photos are simply amazing.

Can't imagine the patience and skill it takes to setup and capture such shots.

Damn - it makes my macro shots look like some kid took it with a PnS ;p

After seeing stuff like this, I dare not post mine :bsmilie:

Oh and by the way - he does all this with a home made flash rig for his FL36.

Just think about what he could do if he had a ring flash or macro flash setup!!!

Kudos to you bro - fantastic stuff!!

I cannot imagine the future ahead for NatureTTL man... his pictures are always so awesome!

Just pretend it's a wax display model.
It can be made food by tweaking contrast and saturation. (I think the colour balance is off, maybe a yellow cast.) And it wont pass as wax display model. Those have to look good to be displayed.

Hokay, noted sir!

But can you do me a favour?
Screenshot that pic of mine and save it as a jpeg.
I'd like to see that jpeg to determine if there is indeed a heavy yellow cast from what I'm seeing on screen. I have had experiences in the past whereby pics saved on my PC with "ICC profile embedded" option gives yellow casts on other monitors. So if you were to save that screenshot, it should not have any ICC profile adjustments and I will see it off-colour.
