Not he move lah... is Ekin Cheng not keeping still... :bsmilie: :bsmilie: :bsmilie: (blame it on the celebrity)

LOL! I happen to be having breakfast in the hotel when I saw Ekin in the ajoining function room. In true Malaysian hospitality, the organizer allowed me to their "closed door" event launch exclusive only to their radio, television guests and newspaper journalists.

I chosed the 3rd row seat not quite certain of what to expect. Armed only with my E510 and no flash, I was soon drowned by a pack of "photographers" whose gear size reduced mine to a "point & shoot". As Ekin appeared, I had my first hand experience of news photography. It's impossible to hold a steady shot for long especially when those photographers are constantly jostling and elbowing each other to get that perfect shot. It's like a photography WWE "royal rumble".

With the limited lighting and no flash, low shuttle speed, fully dependent on the E510 IS, plus the jostling and pushing, I think I came out ok with minimal scars considering it was my very first experience... an experience I will remember for a long time.

On second thought I felt that you are quite rude. You can critique my work but why do you have to poke fun at how I call myself.

wow, the lizard looks so nice. Is blurring done with photoshop or due to DOF directly from lense?

If really that close, possible is actual DOF. But better let headfonz answer. :bsmilie:

thank you guys

yeah its the OOF areas are all due to DOF. i'm getting really good results with the 40-150 f3.5-4.5 + EX25. my workflow is very basic...DNG -> ACR -> Levels -> Duplicate layer -> Gaussian Blur -> Overlay 60% opacity -> flatten.
