With all the technical hooha going on, there ain't enough pictures posted! So I'll revive this with a few shots from my trip to Yogyakarta in Feb 07. All taken the E-300; the E-1 was accosted by the girl.

View from the top of Borobudur.

Gunung Merapi. The white smoke to the right of the caldera is the active lava flow. On a clear night, I was told, it emits a deathly red glow.

The old and new of Borobudur; a restored Buddha image, against a destroyed one.

What ISO did you take the mountain Gunung Merapi at? Even reduced for web, it seems quite noisy, and lack details.

The temple structure at Candi Sewu, maybe can use some contrast masking technique to pull out the details of the temple a little more...

Just my 2 cents worth of suggestions as I feel the pictures are good, just need a touch of post-processing to make it even better.

I'm sure you've enjoyed the vacation :)

Thanks for the feedback Hitman.

The effect on the Candi Sewu was done purposely (i turned up the contrast a whole lot. ;p ); the temple structure itself on the original was not underexposed that much.

The Gunung Merapi one was totally shrouded by mist (and the guide already said it was a clear day). I had to do some serious PP to get that; I'll post the uncropped and un-PPed one later when I get back; then you'll see what I mean.

Vacation was alright; pity is that I got to Prambanan at 1400H; lighting was terrible. :sticktong

This is the original image of Gunung Merapi:
