Is the 500mm mirror lens really this powerful? You can already distinguish the moon craters.

Yes, it's that powerful. But it's very difficult to use due to its magnification, a slight movement will cause motion blur to the image.

I took more than 20 shots and selected this clearest one. :sweat:

Not only powerful. but is cruel & evil glass to show all the pimples of the moon. ;)

Thank you for the comment about my blog. As for the 500mm lens, looks like I know what I want for Christmas :D

Blue (edited - cos the lighting is difficult, the light guy only illumidate the dancer and not the balloon.

and overexpose +2 to illuminate the balloon

, select the dancer from first image, apply feathering, cut and paste on top of second image, and I got my picture. :)

hmm.... 1/13s shuttle speed seems a good timing, the preset mode was 4s, a bit too long.

No........Bro, I was there that day shooting beside you and Oly5050 without tripod........you remember?

Another shot from the same day using 40-150mm kit lens.

 

Some of the shots from an outing session at the Botanic Gardens 2 Sundays ago with ttiongch who had graciously let me try out some of his lenses to poison me.......hehe!.

Thanks.. its a nice lens to take photos.. some of the other photographers thought i was using a teleconverter to take photos.
