Is the 500mm mirror lens really this powerful? You can already distinguish the moon craters.

Yes, it's that powerful. But it's very difficult to use due to its magnification, a slight movement will cause motion blur to the image.

Blue (edited - cos the lighting is difficult, the light guy only illumidate the dancer and not the balloon.

original from raw is

and overexpose +2 to illuminate the balloon

, select the dancer from first image, apply feathering, cut and paste on top of second image, and I got my picture.
