hi, microcosm

thanks for the comments,

she's running a mild fever,
and was'nt in a mood to smile/pose,

my keeper's rate is less than <10% :bsmilie:

enjoy learning from u guys about the composition,
usefull custom white balance in jpeg mode, anti dust feature, compactness, lcd, ergonomic etc..

gotta work around the noise and also
thinking of magnifying viewfinder.. :)

rgds,
Sam

night panning.. the only keeper, need more practices

cheers, :)

You can try with an even lower shutter speed for better blur in the background... and tweak the colours a little too, the subject looks like the Incredible Hulk because of the greenish skin... Good shot, keep shooting!

great pointer,

lowering to 1/13th sec iso 250 improve the bluring, but E 500 tracking with the 14-45mm kit C-AF is not consistent,
S-AF and prefocus on subject's line of approach give better result and more natural color :) 1/40 iso 400

The problem with your shooting is the camera handling... try using a monopod to help you in the panning... pros needs some help sometimes... if you don't believe me, take note of photographers at sports events... you will see quite a number of monopods...
