Hi,

Any update on KATA 3n1-11/22/33 on price and availability? Called up a few shops last week but only one shop has stock for one of the model but quote a high price! Sent e-quote to a CS recommendation shop twice but no reply...

I checked with MS last week. It is $18X for 3N1-33 and $15X for 3N1-22. I went down to look at the bag but the bag too big. I prefer 3N1-30 or 3N1-20 as I don't usually bring notebook around. I think it is better to call and ask for the price, rather than asking the price at the shop....

Anyone know if the 3N1-22 will fit a Panasonic CF-W7 12in. notebook?

Edit: nvm, it doesn't! . maybe i should buy a smaller notebook so that i can get this bag as i really like my 3n1-20 & having a laptop slot makes it ideal!

I just bought a Kata Sensitivity V last week. Really very good and nice. In spite of the slim low profile, I can fit a 5D2 attached with a 85mm 1.2L and carrying a 24-70 2.8L at the side and I can slot in a 13.3" notebook.

Not sure is it becos of the strap material or design. The whole setup does not feel as heavy as if I were to squeeze everything in a normal backpack.

Just got a Kata DR467i from TK Foto at $140.
Loved it. Very comfortable.
Able to fit my 30D + Tamron 17-50 attached.
1 EF-S 55-250, 1 EF 50mm, 1 Emoblitz Flash unit.
Loaded up my 13' MacBook + some other barang barang. Comfortable to carry throughout the entire day.

The Beetle has some awful design decisions - end result is a bag much bigger than the Thinktank Streetwalker Pro but carries about the same or less camera equipment. In fact the entire new lineup is riddled with some questionable designs. Bags that open the camera gear from the bottom? What were Kata thinking?
