Yup.. in sony preorder list, gt stated Sony Centre in JP is actually run by local company.

Just call them up lar. By the way, I was talking to the manager at the Sony shop. Apparently only the Wisma and another branch is directly owned by Sony. The rest are kind of 'Premium' distributor shops run by 3rd party.

But this is what makes it annoying: these "premium" distributor shops, which carry the name "Sony", got their stock of the cameras later than the "non-premium" authorized dealers (MS Color, CP, SLR Revo, etc.)

Manual says the charging time of the battery (from empty to full) is ~5 hours. @_@ I suppose charging via a dedicated charger should speed this up, eh?

Here is the A7r with my Pentax DA40 F2.8 lens. It looks a nice size for a standard lens. The DA40 is extremely sharp and may keep me happy until the 55mm arrives. Just took some test shots not worth posting, but I'm amazed at the shallow DOF compared to when I used it with a NEX.

Bugis told me no stock, I called wisma he able to Help me find stock.

There is a ring on the Kipon adapter which you turn to change aperture. When you buy an adapter for DA lenses, you must specify this feature otherwise as you say, can't change aperture.

tokyo lo.. i am in tokyo now. i think it is the last piece from that store.. not sure about others..
