just preordered the A7 with kit lens from sony center in duty free section of changi airport.. can skip the GST..

NEX lenses can b used on d A7/Rs. So its d same contacts.

If waive off the GST, he pays 130 SGD lesser... As according to my payment slip from Sony on the GST portion. Haha

Officially, you still have to pay GST on it. It's just tax exemption of $600 if I recall correctly. So legally speaking, he still needs to pay GST on the remaining $1399 but of cos..

I don't mind preordering a case from Gariz, USD300 and above there's free international shipping.

USD300??!!?? I bought my gariz (nex 5) case for less than SGD100! Quite steep for a slightly bigger case. I think Gariz is getting very popular so they increase their prices.

Just talked to the Sony Wisma guys and they tell me the A7/A7R stocks arriving later this afternoon.

They also told me they have a 35mm f2.8 reserved for me.

Looking forward for tomorrow!
