Anyone going for the Max Photo session tomorrow?
Yup, it's really good and preserves much more detail than LR. Even with zero NR LR is really muddy anyway.Do you have any experience with DxO 9? I hear the noise reduction, though very computationally intensive, is supposed to be really good at cleaning up High ISO noise?

Ms color also got one session right
I do not own a NEX body to test but based on what I have gathered from the internet the a7 mount is exactly the same as the NEX mount. I have already purchases Nikon F, Praktica, Rollei QBM, CY and m to NEX mount myself.is a7 mount same as the NEX series? intending to buy lens mount so that i can use my old zuiko OM manual lens..

It is, though potentially some adapters might block the full-frame light path because they were only designed for APS-C sensors like Sony's own previous generation A-mount adapters.I do not own a NEX body to test but based on what I have gathered from the internet the a7 mount is exactly the same as the NEX mount. the adapters only adds back the missing flange distance that the Sony Nex System has against the original mount.
I do not think adapters play a major part here, if its anything its how the original intention of the A7 A7r sensors were designed for - Native Sony Lenses.
Vignetting and smearing is merely a byproduct of using the wrong sensor intended for the wrong lens , like certain with angle lenses from M mount.
Is this the first review which lists the autofocus of a7/a7R as a plus point?
