Thats a good combo depending on type of photos you like and planning ti take while in Japan. Mine is 1635/2.8 FE55/1.8 and FE70200/4 which hopefully covers me from 16-200mm but my wide lens is heavy hehe and of course a light tripod should be enough for me to take photos and enjoy the trip.

For tripod, I bring a lightweight Sirui one. Recently I bought a clamp from photospheresg and thinking of using it instead.

Lens wise, I would bring similiar as you plus 1 more, maybe fe35 or fe2470. I avoid the longer zoom as its heavy.

Hi everybody, I was using my A7 for an event shoot recently, shooting with the SEL2470Z and nissin 866 flash (via the original sony ttl flash adapter for old alpha flashes) in manual mode. My flash was set at 1/8 power and my camera exposure settings was underexposed (because of the flash obviously) and shooting was fine, with the live view displaying at 0ev. But at one point in time, the camera starts to lag in shooting, in that when I press the shutter, instead of firing the flash n activating the shutter immediately, the lcd turned dark for about 2 seconds (as if I toggled a stopped down preview) before firing the flash and taking the shot, resulting in me missing a few moments. The flash was recycling well so it shouldn't be the flash or my batteries I guess? I quickly too the flash out and put in on my a7ii with FE55 (2nd body) and carried on shooting with no problem. Then after some time, I put the flash back to my a7 and the problem disappeared. I wonder if anyone here can give any insights as to what may be the problem? I hope it's not my a7 failing for some reason. My A7 did endured South Korea's winter a few weeks back and got some rain during my event shoot (it's weathersealed eh?).

Did you activate the 2s self-time by mistake? This sounds exactly like it.

Edit: Oops, didn't see the LCD turned dark part.

Somebody offloading an A7 and lenses at amazing prices. Too good to be true?

Many inconsistencies and very unclear.

Interested parties please contact/buy with extra care. Be smart and good luck.

I think it is bcos the A7camera hotshoe does not supply enough voltage to fire a cold flash. The remnants of energy in the flash after being fired by the A7ii helps to have the flash fired when it is put hack on the A7. The black screen is due to the sensor detecting as underexposed and thus will not fire as AF is stalled. The lag in firing when it is able to fire is actually due to "hotting" the flash that may result in just having sufficient energy to fire the flash. This is just my opinion.

U thot record loss in so short time meh?? No worry lah A7II price holding well. Its still new mah.
