lol. this is taken with my smart phone. just showing the area where u can test lens.
 

Till now its all just rumors and images from rumor sites...None on Sony sites , no official announcements made or updates to the roadmap. That said i do think this lens will materialise , just not sure when... Kinda frustrating really, thought i could have a native uwa zoom lens before my trip but its been months and nothing announced..hmm...wish they released the uwa before the 70200...

Sony FE PZ 28-135mm G OSS will be a good travel lens along with Zeiss 16-35mm ZA OSS.

Haha im on SonyAlpharumors almost everyday...if u get what everyone is asking, this image is provided by photoscala...I didnt say the lens is a rumour, what i mean is any info regarding the lens such as release dates etc are all rumours..There has been no Official announcement for the lens, release info, prices . The only official announcement made was the a77II. The 28135 is on a later part of the road map but the actual product has already been on display... Like i said this lens will most likely materialise but no one knows when thus release dates etc are all Rumors till something has been Officially announced....What everyone's asking is for an official announcement =)

The bottom of the roadmap states " The road map is an approximate, subject to change" so its not an actual updated roadmap yet. On the other hand,the 28135 was already announced officially during the introduction of the a7s.

yea most "cine" orinetated lenses are humongous... More suitable to be operated with rigs...The servo plays a part in its monstrosity too. Immediately dropped the idea of owning one after press photos. Actual full-fledge cine glass would even be bigger and heavier.

if u followed SAR long enough, one thing u should have learnt by now is to take these sr3/4/5 news with a pinch of salt..Like a few days ago, when they announced on SAR that the sel1670 was discontinued , it was actually just that stores stop bundling the lens with the a6000 and not that it was discontinued... There were times sr4/5 rumors didnt turn out the way people expect it to be...Thats why its called "Sony Alpha Rumors". Bear in mind this site depends a lot on contributed content by anonymous users..Sony's a big company and all it takes is a snap of the finger to scrap a ongoing project and change the product specs with a delayed release like car manufactures.

A little bit like tabloid journalism. Interesting to read though and i follow it almost everyday. Helps me prepare my wallet for upcoming releases in advance.
