hi bros,
just fyi. I was unlucky and of cos realized cos of my itchy hand, i went to buy gaffer tape to tape my a7 to protect it. BUT, i only stick the first part and when i took out, it removed my a7 paint!! *hear pain
. it looks like 1 small part chipped off. quite disappointed on the quality but again maybe is not meant to stick it or im just plain unlucky??

Should get the case instead of using the tape. Hardly see camera using tape, mostly on lens. Send to sony n see whether they can help on it or not. Good luck.

don't use gaffer tape for a smooth paint job on a metal/magnesium alloy body, the adhesive is too strong. I had the same issue with an oly OMD and EP2. particularly suceptible to paint loss especially around sharp corners/edges of the body.
I use vinyl wrap for cars that are easily removable by heat applied with a hair-dryer. so far removed and replaced quite a few times on my A7 without paint loss. The VF hump is covered by the tape i use.

Being a RX1 user, i was super exciting when A7 was launched couple of months back. However, for some unexplainable reason, 99% of pictures I've seen taken by the A7/A7R seems underexposed, dark, way too contrasty, etc. Am i the only one with this problem?

Probably, it doesn't sound camera related.
Try adjusting your settings.

I already ordered the Minolta MD adapter.
Will add a M to NEX adapter to my collection as well then... Any lenses which are recommended. Looking for small and fast primes which can keep the camera light.
Planning to get the Mitakon 35 f0.95. Does it work well with the A7 ? Does anyone own this lens ?

U might want to check this out. Mitakon 50mm f/0.95 FE mount... Initial photo shows softness wide open, not as sharp on focus area as the Noctilux 50/0.95 ASPH. Guess cant expect to pay USD$799.00 for a MIC lens and expect MIG Leica quality. Cheers. See link below for some photos shot with A7

Thanks will check it out... Need to find my fav nifty 50 for this camera. Moving from APSC a good 50mm should become quite an important lens for my collection.

Many film slr 50/1.4 lenses won't break the bank. And the mitakon 35/0.95 is an apsc lens if I'm not wrong.

Which is why I bought so many adapters. I have a Helios 55mm, Canon 50 f1.4 already. Will get more to choose among lenses. Benefits of mirrorless.. I like it
