The routes are probably dropped by the respective airliners due to low consumer demands. Where did you purchased the Changi Airport Flight Schedule?

Strange, the last time i checked the arrival hall(not long ago), i saw **many** passengers collecting their baggage at the UM 770 belt. (Other exotic one/two-flight(s) per week like HM/PX/MK do not even receive that many passengers, although just last week, I had a look at the people going to Seychelles, they were bringing back bicycles, HDTVs, Playstations and other gadgets-- Pretty rich ppl)

Have been buying them at the various Times outlet around SG.

T1 viewing mall closed down long ago, cant capture HM anymore, which is a pity, as they push foward their departure time on Wednesday from 1905(which they usually drag by 20mins+) to 1855(sunlight on some lucky days). PX's arrival from POM also makes it impossible to get any look at it, from a 7pm arrival to a 2335 hrs departure time now( i THINK)

Anyways, my A levels are NEARLY over now (still got 1 H1 Physics MCQ paper in 10 days time), which means I am able to spot planes now:)

Wow, this is a rare one. Not many DC-8 flying worldwide nowadays especially one powered with the original P&W JT3D-7 low-bypass turbofan engines.

Some photos from yesterday's plane-spotting at Changi South, all taken with my trusty 18-200mm VR lens. Saw a fellow spotter there with a Canon+L-lens setup..anyone of you happen to be there?

think just by standing there will get lots of stares?
It's an industrial estate so it's rather deserted, more so during the weekends, the undeveloped land area of Changi Business Park (Changi Business Park Central, Changi Business Park Crescent etc. etc.) are often frequented by people for an one night stand in their cars or addicts requiring a quick fix after dusk and oh, feel free to park any where you wish. ;p

Pardon my ignorance.. why did a Air Asia flight land in WSSL?
Routine servicing at ST Aerospace Engineering, Seletar Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility. FedEx B757-200SF had also underwent Passenger-To-Freighter (PTF) Conversion in the facility before. ;)

For some reason, flight schedules of Batavia Air from Semarang and Jakata are not showing up on the Changi Airport online flight information service.

Just a FYI for those wishing to capture some photos of this airline operating into WSSS from Semarang and Jakarta starting 2009.11.25, flight information are as follows.

  • Flight No. 7P-861 (A319/B737) from Jakarta arrives at 0935 hours daily and departs to Semarang at 1035 hours as Flight No. 7P-864 (A319/B737).

  • Flight No. 7P-863 (A319/B737) from Semarang arrives at 1540 hours daily and departs to Jakarta at 1650 hours as Flight No. 7P-862 (A319/B737).

Nice catch of the ATI gilcrest, their DC-8s actually pop in and out of WSAP quite often.

BTW that looks like one heck of a hazy day. What day/time was it? Rwy 02 or 20?
