President Barack Obama's "Air Force One" refueling stopover and Veterans Day visit to Elmendorf Air Force Base (PAED) has been postponed by a day to 2009.11.12 as he is now currently scheduled to attend a memorial service at Fort Hood, the scene of a mindless massacre that left 13 people dead and 30 injured.

As such, he'll only arrive in Tokyo, Japan on 2009.11.13. * Rest No Change *

Can someone enlighten me pls,

just read from the latest copy of the Changi Airport Flight Schedule, read that there are no more flights to Harare on Air Zimbabwe (and Beijing too, UM770, UM771)!! Yet when i tried searching their website, or the Internet, there are no mentions of any stopping of the HRE-SIN-PEK route.

Does anyone actually know what is happening?(the flight schedule is usually very reliable, been buying since 2001 without much errors)

Thanks.

And hey, Air Niugini does not operate PX 397 to KUL anymore, it was just in operation for less than a few months? :o
There goes my chance of taking PX, they did not even reply my email sent a few months ago.
The routes are probably dropped by the respective airliners due to low consumer demands. Where did you purchased the Changi Airport Flight Schedule?

It will be interesting to see a USAF VC-25A (28000/29000) and a JASDF B747-47C (20-1101/20-1102) "Air Force One" together, though the JASDF B747-47C might be landing at WSSS instead.

timings ???
Probably in the afternoon or evening, as with commercial airliners, exact timing is only known a couple of hours before the arrival of the aircraft due to air traffic congestion, weather etc. etc. ;)

ahh then we can do a last min gathering ??
i seriously dont mind catching air force one =)
plab is near my area..well not that near but around there !!!

Perhaps if we disguised ourselves as the high intensity, sequenced flashing, Approach Lighting System (ALS) and keep strobing away at the risk of getting jet blasted by the wake turbulence of the VC-25A, no one will notice? :bsmilie:

Following aircraft parking stands will be able to accommodate the VC-25A (28000/29000") during its 3 days, 2 nights stay at WSAP...

  • Apron C, Aircraft Parking Stand: C10A
  • Apron C, Aircraft Parking Stand: C11A

  • Jet Apron, Aircraft Parking Stand: J1A
  • Jet Apron, Aircraft Parking Stand: J2A

President Barack Obama's "Air Force One" is now scheduled to arrive between Saturday night and early Sunday morning. ;(

I heard its always going to be nite landing.. :)
Yup, but both VC-25A (28000 & 29000) should be here and not to mention photography opportunity also exist during the Sunday evening departure of "Air Force One" from WSAP RWY 02 towards Shanghai.

Take a look at this and imagine a VC-25A in place of the C-17 Globemaster III, and that is where you should be at. ;)

There might be a better spotting location for WSAP RWY 02 arrival/departure but I'm not too familiar with the area though. :embrass:

yap, the guy took it from his flat in xxx xxxxxxx at 1x floor. thanks.

maybe he can have a "open house" to invite us up his house? :)

I Heard The AF1 VC-25a Will Be Landing at Seletar Airbase at 9+ Best view sengkang Or Thanggam Lrt

is there Going to be an outing ?

Nah... no chance it would be landing at Seletar. Imagine the headache it would be to secure that area. Not to mention, Seletar can't take an aircraft of that size.
